Move it Mama was founded by Lisa in February 2018. With four boys under five, Lisa was doing short, high intensity workouts from home, and then began to share them. Regular exercise reclaimed Lisa’s sparkle. Through exercise, she rebuilt herself both physically and mentally.
After sharing her workouts with close friends, Lisa started to build a community. Move it Mama is now an amazingly uplifting community connected through exercise.
In 2018, what was four high intensity workouts with Lisa each week, is now a variety of workouts (14 per week) from bodyweight to high intensity, weights, boxing and yoga.
Lisa’s sisters Jess and Char joined her in delivering workouts in 2019. Today Move it Mama hosts a team of six instructors.
With so much variety available, and a community of over 5,500 members, the Move it Mama platform now has a workout suitable to just about anyone.
